Dorias' Night's Plight

Traveling again in time
To unscramble her past rhyme
Possibly to save all of her kind
So they may enjoy a new rhyme
In our time
Traveling through the stars
That looked not so far

After traveling in time
It's a whole new strange rhyme
Looking into her rhyme's chime
It's so different from our kind

A tunnel of light
Appears as bright
As I enter the vortex
Toward the orifice of light
That is so bright
It is the beginning and the end
Of my sight
I know not how far
I've traveled this night
In my flight

I gaze through the crystal door
What a sight
Like I've never seen before
They beacon me through
The passageway of light
Joyful sight
This gleaming light
Before my sight

With their crystal blue white light
They appear in my sight
As I move out of the mystical
Dark spiraling tunnel of the night
I behold them in reverence  this night

My spirit rides high
As I hear their loud but soft cry
We want you not to sigh
Understand the real reason why
For when you die
You will be seeking out
And echoing the same cry
Come to us
And we will tell you why

We are glad
You learned how to fly
Through the darkened nightly sky
For it's your life's new beginning
In the world that has passed you by
