(c) William Russell

Lifting your eyes toward the morning star
Brings a moment of happiness where you are
The radiant twinkles of it's flickering bright light
Brings a whole new day
Of dreams into sight
In the morning of the first starlight

Lifting yourself toward the dawn of a new day
Permitting life to shower you with it's plentiful pleasing ways
To see through your gaze
Happiness spring forward
From a pure enlightened heart
The sweet savory smell of peacefulness
Grows to a swell
In a new heightened manifested heart
